The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as:
“…partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment.”
Coaching is not a replacement for therapy. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Nevertheless, many clients work with a therapist and a coach simultaneously.
Coaching is not telling. While I may offer some ideas and strategies for you to consider, most of our time will be spent with me helping you tap into your own wisdom and insights.
Coaching isn’t problem-solving. It’s about helping you identify what you want, getting clear about why it’s important to you, and creating a timely and motivating strategy for achieving your goals.
Coaching isn’t about fixing yourself or someone else. Coaching is about tapping into your strengths, gifts, talents, assets, resources, values, and ideas to help you create the life and relationships you want for today and tomorrow.
Work with me to understand how to navigate conversations around anxieties, mental health, motivation, life outlook, and effective communication with a young person you love.
Partner with Sophie for individual coaching or group coaching with you AND your child to bridge communication gaps, grow mutual understanding, and improve the overall relationship.

I specialize in working with Gen Zers' managers to bridge intergenerational workplace gaps. Many of my executive coaching clients focus on creating a more inclusive workplace, communication skills, setting boundaries and expectations, offering feedback, and learning how to motivate their Gen Z employees.
I also works well with small group and on-going team coaching to design, implement and facilitate coaching and learning sessions around all things Gen Z. The availability for these is both in-person and virtual.
If you are a manager/team leader who:
I might be the coach for you!
If you are a young adult (18 or older) who:
I might be the coach for you!
While I specialize in coaching parents, Gen Zers, and managers, I also have clients who don't fit into these categories. If you are interested in coaching, please reach out to me to discuss what you'd like to talk about and and what you want to get out of coaching.
